Cancun Palace All Inclusive Resort Tips

As soon as you choose to go for a holiday in one of the finest destinations in the world - Cancun, at some point you need to choose where do you want to stay.  Are you going for a villa, a self-catering apartment, a hotel room or an all inclusive resort? Whichever you choose, there again you have another problem - which apartment, villa or resort? Irrespective whether you want to spend your holiday in an apartment, villa or a resort, you have a wide selection of all these accomodation types from where to choose from.

If you have decided to stay in an all inclusive resort, which to be honest is very convenient, one of the resorts quite famous with visitors is no doubt the Cancun Palace. It is one of the best five star resorts which cater for all your needs during your stay in Cancun.  The beauty of Cancun Palace is simply incomparable, and only Cancun itself together with its beaches are nice as much as the the resort. Most first time travelers whom have never experienced such luxurious resorts all have the same excitement on their first moments at the resort, they simply remain puzzled by the beauty of Cancun Palace.

Further to the beauty of the resort itself, at Cancun Palace one can find a variety of services, amenities and entertainment above others. But I will give you a number of advices coming from my own personal experience when I stayed at the Cancun Palace Resort that you won’t find anywhere else and wish that you will find this information useful.

a) Palace Resorts are offering the 25th Silver Anniversary Promotion where basically a number of interesting tours and discounts to be used at the resort are on offer throughout the whole year, without exceptions. This promotion is valued up to $1000 per person.

b) The tours CANNOT be booked prior your arrival, no travel agent can do it irrespective what others say.

c) On your arrival and after checking in, prior going to your room, go and book the tours. Ask the resort receptionist to guide you to where the tours booking desk is and BOOK YOUR TOURS straight away.

d) Why? Places are limited, and if you go in a busy period, when the resort is nearly fully occupied, then you may find that all the days are booked, leaving you with NO tours. Hence BOOK immediately and if you stay for 7 days you have more chance of finding a day available for booking. Remember that all the tours are scheduled on specific days and times and depend on the resort in which you are staying.

a) If height is not a problem for you, try to stay in the top floors. Reason being that there is live music in the lobby and the sound is load. The music goes on till 1am.

b) You may also find some people which are heavily boozed and may disturb your sleep with noises especially around the pool area.

a) If you are into oriental food MIYAKO Japanese restaurant is a must visit and booking is required for teppanyaki tables. Even if you have never tasted Japanese food, give it try. You may be amazed how exquisite it is.If you don't like it, just leave and find another restaurant - pretty simple isn't it?

b) In the evening a must visit restaurant is Frida where you can eat grilled steak, shrimps, ribs, chicken, and a couple of nights lobster. Staying outside it means you can be overlooking the beach area and it will be such a great atmosphere with all that tasty selection of food and some drinks.

a) This question is often asked and to be honest it is very simple to answer. Tips are included with the cost of your stay, so you don't have to tip. However there are always exceptions to the rules, and personally I do tip $1 or $2 to those servers whom I feel that they went over and abovetheir duties. But it is up to you, you don't have to tip if you don't want to.

a) The beach is marvellous with beautiful blue clear water.

b) You may find some waves in certain months of the year, although at the end of the day they can provide some extra fun.

c) The beach is a must visit for a romantic small walk!

a) The pool is huge and absolutely beautiful. So if you don't go to the beach, you will spend most of your time there. At the pool there are some activities going on but you don't need to participate. If you want to stay away from the activities area, go to the right side of the pool facing the ocean and you will be quite away from the activity area and will enjoy the view, relax and enjoy the sun and why not a tequila! You will also find plenty of umbrellas in the shade and pool chairs.

a) The only night life in the resort is the live band at the lobby where you can meet other guests and have a chat and a drink there. You may meet interesting people there by the way. But if you are not tired, it may be wise to go out in the surrounding bars and nightclubs in Cancun and you are very close to them! So go out and enjoy yourself as much as you can.
